Fairview

With a population of approximately 9,500 residents, Fairview is an unincorporated community between Hayward and Fremont.  With more than 1,500 of Fairview’s residents born abroad, this diverse community is governed by the County of Alameda at the local level and Congressional District 9 at the federal level.  Residents enjoy a mixture of suburb and rural housing and access to several educational facilities including two elementary schools, a high school, and a number of surrounding colleges and universities.
