Barbara Lee Statement on the Passing of Former Staff Member Chris Crowe

Washington, DC – Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA) released the following statement today after learning of the passing of former staff member, Chris Crowe. Mr. Crowe worked in Representative Lee’s Washington, DC office in 2006:
“I was heartbroken to learn of the recent passing of Chris Crowe, a trusted aide to Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson. Chris began his career on Capitol Hill in my office as an intern and staff assistant, and he remained a member of our extended family throughout the years as he built an impressive career in public service. The entire Capitol Hill family will miss the many gifts that Chris possessed, but mostly we will all miss his smile, his positive attitude, his warmth and his creativity. I extend my sincere condolences to Chris’ family and loved ones and to his colleagues in Rep. Johnson’s office in this difficult time.”
