OAKLAND – Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-Oakland) in cooperation with Senator Loni Hancock, Assemblymember Sandré Swanson, Supervisor Keith Carson and Oakland Mayor Ronald Dellums will host a Day of Forgiveness and New Beginnings Forum on Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cal State East Bay Oakland Professional Development and Conference Center, located at 1000 Broadway, Suite 109 Oakland, CA.
Information and resources available during the event include: appointments with the California Department of Motor Vehicle for renewal of ID cards and driver’s licenses; appointments with Social Security for replacement Social Security cards and processing of new claims; information about child support cases; voters rights information and voter registration forms; Live Scan reports, and Clean Slate services offered by the East Bay Community Law Center.
