Oakland, CA – Today Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-Oakland) will participate in a panel discussion on African Americans in politics and society since the election of President Barack Obama, at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Hallon, Monday, February 7, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.  The discussion, hosted by the Commonwealth Club, will be moderated by Oakland Tribune Editor Martin Reynolds, and will feature co-panelists Color of Change co-founder James Rucker, Green for All CEO Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, and Stanford Law Professor and author of The Race Card, Richard T. Ford.
