During their three weeks in Washington, DC, these high school scholars have engaged in an intensive study of politics and government. The Summer School is sponsored by The Junior Statesmen Foundation, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational organization that was founded almost seventy years ago to educate young people about public affairs and the responsibilities of leadership in a democratic society.
