Congresswoman Barbara Lee Releases Statement on Russian Military Invasion of Georgia

Washington – Congresswoman Barbara Lee released the following statement regarding Russian military action in Georgia:

“I am deeply troubled by the escalating violence in Georgia.  I strongly urge all parties to immediately cease hostilities and engage in direct talks to find a peaceful and diplomatic solution to this crisis.”
